Mr. Michel Nadeau founded, directed and developed numerous service companies before becoming President of Vézina Nadeau Labre. Recognized for his natural business sense, he has counselled and guided more than a hundred managers and company owners in their personal and entrepreneurial development. Fresh from this 30 years of experience helping individuals and companies, he brings the specific ability to help individuals in transition who have a desire to create, develop or acquire a company in the pursuit of their careers. The member of numerous Boards of Directors, Michel has acted as volunteer President of a 130-person choir for two years. His objective and mission is to ensure the sound and healthy development of Vézina Nadeau Labre in conjunction with the needs of the company’s clients and the career transition marketplace.

Ms. Danielle Labre joined Vézina Nadeau this spring after leading a Career Management firm for 25 years. She completed her Master’s in Management Training in 2003 and started work on a Doctorate in the Management of Learning in 2006. Recognized for her talent and competencies in developing both individuals and teams, she has accompanied many people in various management contexts from Career Management to Coaching for Development and Succession, since 1982. An experienced and popular leader, she has developed and led numerous training sessions on major themes such as Team Synergy, Managing Change and Managing Differences in a wide variety of business sectors. Danielle is a dynamic and creative person who orients her energies toward the needs of clients. She sincerely believes in the power of the individual to develop and surpass his/her own expectations, all the while enjoying being the catalyst in this evolution.

Mr. Jean-Pierre Doré, Vice President of Vézina Nadeau Labre, has a wealth of diversified experience from some 30 years of work in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Training, Recruitment, Staffing, Employment Equity and Career Management.

The holder of both a BA and MA in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal, Jean-Pierre was director of a Human Resource department in a hospital before joining a major Crown Corporation where he held director-level positions in Labour Relations and later General HR Management.

He has now spent more than 12 years as a Career Consultant to people from all hierarchical levels in the management of their careers.

Ms. Carole Théot is a career transition and vocational guidance counsellor whose experience was acquired both in Europe and in Canada. Carole is an active member of the Quebec Order of Vocational Counsellors. Her counselling practice and her past management of career centres have exposed her to all levels of individuals from both industrial and service sectors. The holder of a Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Carole has 12 years of experience as a recruiter and career management counsellor which give her a valuable overview of the employment market and its practices. During recent years, she has designed and implemented the orientation and psychometric practices of Vézina Nadeau Labre, which allowed her to successfully help more than 400 participants who wanted to reconsider their professional choices.

Ms. Carolina Castro has close to 10 years of experience accompanying and counselling individuals in Career Management and Transition. Her time with managers and professionals from various activity sectors has helped her to carry out numerous group and individual interventions in Career Management and Transition, Change Management, Coaching, Competency Development and preparation for retirement. Recognized for her commitment to the development of individuals and groups, she has demonstrated tact and sensitivity in analysing client needs, and in identifying and implementing strategies to achieve desired objectives. The holder of a B.A. in Career Management from the University of Quebec at Montreal, she regularly updates her qualifications. For several years she has shared her knowledge at conferences and by writing articles on subjects such as Coaching, Communication, HR Management and Career Management. A member of the Quebec Order of Certified Human Resources Professionals and Industrial Relations Counsellors, she is also certified to use psychological testing such as Myers-Briggs.

Ms. Martine Joyal is a Management Coach who bases her interventions on 25 years of HR experience, mainly in the private sector, in unionized and non-unionized distribution, production and marketing environments. As a manager of her own experienced team, Martine’s fields of expertise include Management Coaching, Competency Development, Organizational Development and Talent Management. Her work has often required her to make presentations to Senior Management in both French and English. She has also often worked as a facilitator for management meetings and management training.

Martine holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Montreal.  She has received accredited training by the International Coach Federation and is a member of the Quebec Order of Certified Human Resources Professionals (CHRP). Ms. Cheryl Stein has been working as a Coach and Consultant to Canadian businesses for the last five years. She specializes in strategic planning, succession planning, conflict resolution, leadership development and career development. Cheryl has over 20 years of experience in Real Estate Management. Working in a family business environment, shel learned first hand about the intricacies of working in a multi generational business as well as the complexities of family business dynamics.

A Consultant and Trainer for more than 20 years, most at the Eastern Townships Objective Work Centre, Ms. Josée Carrière has a Master’s Degree in Vocational Guidance from the University of Sherbrooke. She has supervised the work of Master’s-level students since 1985 and been an Affiliated Consultant with Vézina Nadeau Labre since 1997.

Josée has broad experience in Individual Counselling, Group Leadership, Psychological Evaluation, Career Assessment, Coaching and Course Planning. For 5 years, she was involved in providing workers with the skill sets required to transfer their knowledge and abilities to their professional endeavours.

Ms. Carrière now heads the Professional Services Department of the Eastern Townships Objective Work Centre.

Claude Laliberté

Mr. Claude Laliberté directs Vézina Nadeau Labre operations in Quebec City and also serves as President of Laliberté services-conseils, a firm that provides specialized HR Management services in the region. The holder of a B.A. in Business Administration as well as a Master’s degree in Professional and Educational Orientation from Laval University, he started his career as a Manager of Human Resources. Among other positions, he worked as Manager of Staffing and later Director of Organizational Development for the largest division of Culinar Inc., a Quebec company with an international calling. Working as a consultant since 1981, he and his partners and associates have served a broad and diverse clientele, both in private business as well as in the institutional environment. His fields of expertise include recruitment of professional and management staff, management of career transitions and evaluation of individual potential. Claude attaches the highest importance to the ethics of interventions, the quality of working relations and client satisfaction.

John Stoten

Mr. John Stoten has practised as a management consultant since 1980, following over 12 years of business and professional experience encompassing engineering consulting and project management, psychological practice, university administration and Human Resources Management. He has provided consulting services to a wide range of local, national and international businesses and public sector organizations and all three levels of government.

John’s consulting activities have focused on HR issues. In 1980, he was responsible for developing the Edmonton Human Resources practice for a major national consulting firm. He later developed and managed the Edmonton office of a major national Career Management services firm.
